Here you will find a short
video sequence following some frantic digging operations by our
local population of wombats. I think our bore is in serious danger
of being undermined.
The first of these holes appeared over a period of only two days
and the excavation work over the following week.
You have to admire the tenacity and dogged determination of these
animals. It’s no wonder that farmers get peed off with them! |

Here you can find pictures of some of
the warren systems on our property. These are the homes of
wild populations of wombats. These burrows
systems, together with their tracks from one to the other, can be
seen quite plainly using satellite imagery.
